Dragon Searches for a Pastoral Home

Based on a folk tale about a dragon searching for a peaceful home that settles in a field of tulips. This is primarily a Journaling game but I include information for those playing other TTRPGs so that you can even play Hearth and Sylvan Draagon in 5e. 

In this game you’re a dragon settling into a new home, a place of pastoral beauty. Perhaps you are young and excited to see the world for the first time, just as many optimistic fairy tale heroes set out to seek their fortune. Perhaps you are old and grizzled, tired and seeking peace somewhere with small cottages and fairy-filled forests.

It is peaceful here. Perhaps somewhere there are vast troubles and heroes to help combat these troubles. Perhaps a knight errant might pass through on their way to this place or the other. A powerful spell slinger of one sort or another might come here looking for something. But for the most part life moves at a more restful pace.

Yet creating a home to live isn’t so simple as plopping down by the first pretty tree or and occasionally fluttering off to the delicious smelling bakery. People need help with their homes and crops as they always do and the world calls out to you to be explored, to be discovered, to stroll along bubbling streams and soar over meadows. And where to settle is a big decision, for dragons rarely move once they have so you want to make certain you get just the right spot.

Hearth and Sylvan Dragons

I have created two types of dragons for this game. The sylvan and the heath dragons. Sylvan dragons are large dragons that live in the forests and heath near villagers while hearth dragons prefer to live in people’s homes, often in the form of a cat or dog.
