Epic Fantasy Village

You take a breath of flower scented air and watch the fireflies and squealing children play just outside the lamplight for a moment. Your village had faced many challenges in its thousand years of history and now another threat is rising and the signs of this is everywhere.

 

You are about to discuss these problems with the other members of the village using the history of the village, your feelings, and current events.

 

Peasants of the past would frequently seek to uphold the honor of their village, so villages in Northern Italy that bribed Hannible thousands of years before would attempt to bribe enemies, while those who joined him might seek to join the stronger side, etc. As a result the history of the village and its response to events played an important role in the villages discussion of what to do now.

 

 

Play

This is a cooperative game in which the players all seek to build picture of village life and the current challenge facing the village, while offering possible solutions to it. The rules for this game are primarily the same as the rules for improv. That is you should begin by establish the scene and discuss what you want out of this game.
